Working Principle
Our Magnetic Drum Separators work on the principle of a rotating drum carrying feed material across a stationary magnetic arc. Magnetic particles are captured and separated from non-magnetic ones, ensuring efficient processing. Depending on type, they can either concentrate magnetic material or remove tramp iron.
Types We Manufacture

Working Principle
The drum consists of a stationary magnetic arc around which a rotating drum shell carries the feed material. As material passes across the drum, magnetic particles are attracted to the magnetic field and held to the drum’s surface, while non-magnetic materials freely fall away. Magnetic material is then released from the drum once it passes out of the magnetic field – collected in a separate chute.
Depending on the type, the drum can be used for either concentrating magnetic material or removing tramp iron.

Working Principle
The feed material passes over a rotating drum containing a stationary high-intensity magnetic field. Ferrous impurities are attracted to the magnetic surface and held as the drum rotates. As it leaves the magnetic zone, iron particles drop into a separate collection area, while clean non-magnetic material is discharged forward.
